Meta Description is a complete summarized information of the page used by webmasters which provide short information about the webpage content. The Meta Description isn’t visible on the front end of any website. It’s visible only in search engines results page and mostly it can be collected by directories to get information about the web page. In terms of Google, a meta description can be of up to 160 characters. Minimum characters of Meta Description recommend by Google is 120 characters. Webmasters or website owners can use 120 to 160 characters in Meta Description to make it perfect for search results. If any webpage has more than 160 characters in Meta Description, that is not beneficial. In another word, Meta Description having more than 160 characters is not any use. Google search bot truncate Meta Description up to maximum 160 characters and a Meta Description of at least 120 characters is good for Google. If your Meta Description is of less than 120 characters Google Bot will see it as short meta description and it might be seen as low informative.

Strictly avoid keywords stuffing in your Meta Titles and Meta Description.

For example, do not make it like: “LED Spotlights…… LED Spotlights……Visit to buy LED Spot Lights online”

At the bottom of the report you can find an option to download an optimized file, if your website design suits them, you can download those compressed images and upload them at required places. Maybe in lots of cases, those images might not be useful due to your website design and layouts. For example, in case of cropped images and zoom after clicking on them, the image file size may not be suitable for some website. Check them and decide how you would like to go with those images. If you wish to upload those image, Google has already optimized and compressed those images for your website and that can be the best suitable.

If you don’t wish to follow those images, you can try some free tools to compress images on your website. I always use this Image optimizer Tool and it’s good enough to my knowledge. It’s easy to upload images in any format like JPG, PNG, Gif etc. You can upload an image file or insert the URL to compress. Choose your preferred format to save image and press optimize. The image optimizer tool will give you the different result of image and detail on color reduction and size reduction. Image sizes mainly increase due to their high resolution and color used. This tool reduces them and provides you different compressed results, you can save the best-compressed one among them and re-upload in your website.

If you are WordPress user, you can use any image optimizer plugin. In WordPress websites, it’s easy to add new image optimizer plugin and they work for you to compress images at different sizes. One of the plugins I use is WWW Image Optimizer. However, it’s not recommended to use so many plugins in a website, because they can make your website hanged, crashed etc. I am using this image optimizer plugin for a while and recommend to use it. Once you add and activate the plugin, go to Media from WordPress Dashboard and click on Bulk Optimize. Wait until all your images are compressed, when it is done you can see detailed information of image compression in your WordPress website.

Images are one of the major things which can delay on your web page load and render time. If your webpage needs more time to be rendered you won’t get SERP as expected. Among 100s of things to be fixed for SEO, an image is the primary one. You can follow any idea to compress and reduce your image file size, like online compression, use of the plugin, image re-design, image re-size etc. or may be any other way which you know. The important thing is you have to compress and fix it. Once all of your images are compressed and uploaded again, you will see the change in your website performance speed and it’s possible that slightly your webpage SERP will also go up.

How to Reduce the Bounce Rate in Google Analytics

Do you see some spam traffic to your website and they make the bounce rate high? Don’t worry, it’s normal for all website owner, you can block them in few easy steps. They are some auto bot or spammer who bounce traffic from your website.

I agree that, having loads of spam traffic with high bounce rates make your website as low informative and they may cause the rank down in SERPs. So, I am writing few easy steps to help you to block low quality referring sites from your Analytics Account.

How to Reduce Bounce Rate in Google Analytics Report by Blocking Low-Quality Traffic Referral:

These spam traffic referrals generally look like:

And may be recently you are getting some traffic like “Copy this url and Vote for Trumph”

Is it the same case you are facing with your traffic sources/ referral?

If the bounce rate is high in your Google Analytics, you can check it from traffic referral sources.

To check the low quality referrals you have to go to>

Acquisition > All Traffic View > Referral

Go To Reporting and click on Acquisition, then go to All Traffic click on Referrals to check which website’s are referring you most and causing the bounce page views. You can select the number to view in list from the bottom of the page.


Now, check and make the list of spam traffic referrals to your website. You are almost ready now, click on Admin and then go to filter section from Google Analytics.

Click +Add Filter on Red Colored Tab.

  • Choose “Create a new filter”
  • Enter The “Filer Name”. You can put the website url to make it easy to understand later when you recheck in future.
  • Choose “Custom”
  • Select “Exclude” and select Filter Filed “Referal”

Enter the Filter Pattern, you can simply put the url. For example:

After all the above steps are done, click the Save Button. Now you will see that your filter has been added.

Congratulations, you won’t see any traffic from the website which you have blocked now, you can use the same process to block any traffic referral which you don’t want to see.
